Our staff

The paramount commitment of our nursery is to safeguard and protect all children in our care. In order to do this, we make sure we only employ people who are suitable to work with children. All members of staff have to undergo Enhanced DBS checks, hold appropriate childcare qualifications and have relevant experience.

All our regular staff members are trained in Paediatric First Aid and hold at least a basic Safeguarding training.

The nursery has a DSMS (Designated Senior Member of staff for Safeguarding) and a DSMS deputy.

In addition to this we also have staff members trained in Health and Safety, Basic Food Hygiene, Drug Administration,
Behaviour Management, Special Educational Needs (SENCO) and lots more.

Staff members are expected to undergo continuous professional development.
